I haven't noticed anything missing; I even was just searching for some past questions for an article I am working on.

i noticed what you are talking about and the answer is yes, this site is controled some members also suspect that the site is being closely monitored which is why we cant delete our comments. but remember they say they will delete sensitive stuff

crimochina:

another thing , your post does not have to be offensive in any way or even sensitive. some people will click report abuse if they simply disagree with you

I wondered about the deleting your comments/posts thing ... I could've sworn you used to be able to . Well I suppose the way around that is to edit them with something obscene inside and I'm sure they'll delete it for you !

Hi there Paul Martin,

Can you be a bit more specific? All I remember deleting recently (post-Localla fuss) were spams, including a massive attack suffered yesterday, and double posts.

Also, if by 'controled' you mean 'moderated', the answer is yes. If you're 'subtly' hinting at Big Brother conspiracy theories, then I yawn in your face, sir. And God knows cat breath smells awful.

Also, it's quite possible unoffensive answers were deleted, if it was completely irrelevant to the question. That's what comments are for.

adminanswer:

Gotta hand it to you, Localla. Calling me off on the one hand and then imploring me to rescue you from the gibing fish.

Anyways, paulmartin, I checked and could not find any traces of deleting your innocuous 'beach-loving' answer anywhere. I did, however, delete a question from you entitled "how to do this" about how simple(-minded) people's questions and answers had become on this section.
