Q: whats the meaning behind those big sculptures of cabbages?

i walked by a shop today that had a big one for like 20,000 kuai. see them all the time. do they have a meaning? luck maybe? or do they just realy love cabbages?

They are for financial luck. It's basically a money plant and bring the same luck like the toad with a coin in its mouth.
