Q: What's the one dish you cook at home over, and over, and over again?

If I put some effort into it I can cook quite a few dishes...but that only rarely happens. Most of the time I hate 'wasting' time cooking something semi-elaborate if I know I'm going to devour it in 5 minutes.

So... I usually have one or two easy dishes that I can prepare in10-15 minutes tops.

What are your go-to dishes when you have to cook for yourself?

Kraft Mac and Cheese

Great, easy comfort food when I need some western flavor

Anytime I make a trip back to the US, half my luggage is the Kraft.

Pancakes.  Or just a steak and baked potatoe.

Orange crispy beef stir fry, which is a good cut of meat with no bones! Easy to cook with the tools that I have, and just a little bit of a different taste from the local fare. I usually cook it with onion, brocolli, and red bell pepper.

HugAPanda:

Do you use juice and zest from an orange for the sauce? What else? If you don't mind me asking. I love orange beef or chicken.

Here's a recipie I've used before. You can convert to metric, and also change the number of people. The only thing I couldn't find here was the orange juice concentrate, so I used fresh squeezed orange juice, which did the trick, and then cut up some of the peel for the zest.

Since it is stir-fry, it went over pretty good when I've cooked it for local folks. Also, they really liked the "no bone" part. Enjoy!

Chicken breast and veggies with a little olive oil and lime juice. Sometimes I add a splash of soy. When I'm feelin... friskeh I switch it up and use a white fish instead.

Pork chop and steamed vegies. All readily available, and easy to do. Vegies are preferably potato, sweet potato, brocolli and cauliflower. (NB: potato includes heaps of butter Laughing out loud)

Chinese food-wise, I do a tomato and egg fairly regularly for breakfast.

A nice slow cooked chicken stew with loads of herbs and vegetables. Oh, how I missed herbs before I found where I could get them.
