I have heard that the retirement age is between 55-60 depending on the rank of the civil servant.

According to this page, female civil servants retire at 55, the men at 60. And female workers retire at 50...?

To my knowledge, females do retire and draw pension at age 50, males at age 60. I have a couple (Chinese nationals) who are dear and close friends, and they just went thru this exercise of retirement.
