Q: What's the salary of China's President and Ministers?
My son just showed me an article about 12 govt. officials whose banks accounts were leaked and seems the amounts exceed their salaries by at least 500%. How much they they officially make every year?
I looked around, but couldn't find an exact figure (well, not even close), but I sure would love to read that article! Where did your son read it?
However much they make, it sure beats my salary, lol!

Their "normal" salary is probably peanuts, what does counts are the fringe benefits.......

o (Bo) had an account in USA with some savings, like 158 million dollars in it. And I am sure it is just one of many.......

If someone with the knowledge of how to do it, became interested enough in knowing that particular detail of you, it could be done.
According to the CPC, President Hu earns less than President Obama, but I think that is a fairy tale.

Well according to the NY Time's latest story it appears to be in the neighborhood of $2.7Billion! I guess they don't need golden parachutes over here.
Its amazing that the people of China have no clue about this either.
if you ask the NYTimes, Mr. Hu has managed to collect several billions.
Even if their actual salary is low, they do have some enviable perks, like food from secret farms to make sure they don't get the same polluted food the rest of us have to deal with.
