A few days in Beijing a saw the most tuhao couple I've ever seen get out of an orange lambourghini, wearing matching leopard print couples outfits complete with tiny poodle with dyed orange ears. oh yeah and the dog was wearing shoes...
they must have had the 'good-taste bypass' operation.
a must for the nouveau-riche
tackiest? his and hers 'Hello Kitty' t-shirts
Tackiest I've seen was on Valentine's in Guangzhou. This girl stepping out of a cab dressed in a white dress with little cushion pink hearts stuck all over the dress. It's was a nice dress but the little hearts REALLY catches your eye. To top it all, the guy with her came out with an all white ensemble with a bigger pink heart stuck on his left breast pocket. This one takes the prize for being the gaudiest I've seen.
Have you seen the hairstyles of the rural people in China (especially the women)?
I know the 80s was cool and all but the Chinese are bringing it back in the worst kind of way with some of those hairstyles... it's ghastly!
Pets with shoes and jackets.
I always think, owner of the pet wants to say: 'Since ancient (number 5) times, dogs worn shoes! In China!
I think those bunches of "flowers" which are actually teddy bears on sticks(?) are pretty bad. Imagine giving one of those to girl back home.
Orange is not unusual for a Lamborghini. They make more than a few in louder colors like orange or lime green. I went to the Lambo dealer in Tianjin and all they had was orange, lime green or yellow.
But your point remains valid. I do draw the line of automotive color freedom at the pink Hummer I saw in Shanghai. My goodness man. And it was a man driving.

Pink Range Rover Evoque and pink Audi TT, both driven by men.
Scandinavian:
there is a company here in town that has a fleet of light pink VW sedans. I really hope they are driven by hairdressers.
