Q: What's your favorite surrounding areas in Beijing?

No more Sanlitun Gongti please. I think Gulou is nice, but any other areas with decent hidden bars or bookshops or parks?

Fragrant Hills in Haidian Dist. is a place to go for a challenging walk up a mountain and see the city from the top. A cable car can bring you down for 60 RMB.
