Q: when is chinese new year this year? sensible to try travel?

I think it jan 28   really disturbs my plans,,,I hate to try to travel in China a week before or after the celebration... just guessing... but when are dates to travel this coming winter

 

as much as I try to convince myself... Jan 28 keeps popping up,,, so when is best? the week before?? or the week after??

Don't travel in China the week before or week after! Best to travel outside China though anywhere in south east Asia will be crawling with Chinese (except the Phillipines!)

week bfr or aftr is same, n bettr to travel on weekdays. weekends are always crowded
