I always have a quiet day or quiet time when I'm in my room. It's not too noisy here. . Not exactly sure where you are coming from with this. So I would have to say today but not the whole entire day just parts of the day it will be quiet for me.

I address the general noise level I hear so much about in China, and have therefore been curious about if that is actually having such an impact on e.g. users here.
I am just asking out of pure internet, or call it research prior to relocating to China.
When my phone has no money or power.

It may "accidentally" happen on weekend mornings.
No I don't want to climb a mountain at 9am I've a terrible hangover!
I often have quiet days. As I only spend extended vacations in China I can choose whatever I like to do and generally whenever I like to do things. At times I will just chill at home or stroll around checking out the day to day lives of the locals. As long as I keep out of the more crowded areas I would call those days quiet days in China.
llBamBamll:
Great to hear. :) What made you chose China as the place for the extended vacation?
And which places would you recommend? I am going there in about 2 months, so it would be great to know. :)
Really depends what you choose to do and where you want to go....but surely that can be said for anywhere in the world?
llBamBamll:
Sure it can. I am just curious about how much the noise level that I hear so much about is actually affecting people in China.

I guess it depends to 'what you use to'...for example fireworks. Back home dogs seem to go mad but I lived in a small town in China before where fireworks is an 'every day occurance' and dogs seemed pretty chilled about it
I like going to the parks in the suburbs. Not really many people or cars. Sometimes you can find a larger park in the city center thats quiet at night
I try to get some quiet every day, usually by spending some time in my apartment in the afternoon. If it's a nice day, maybe I'll go for a walk, which is really great in the evening now that it's warmer out. There are lots of places to go in the evening that are quiet. That's what I like about living in a small city. If I want, I can go to the music building on campus and play piano, or listen to a friend play saxophone or something. I would say my life is pretty peaceful this semester.
llBamBamll:
That´s good. So in your apartment it is usually quiet?
I have just been hearing so much about the noise level in China and that it is bothering people who are actually not grown up with it. I come from a small town in Germany, so I am just curious about how much it maybe would affect me personally. Well, I will find out in about 2 month, but it could just be great to prepare for it. :)
Maybe I should move to a quite small place at first. :)

Well, this school and my apartment are on the edge of a small city, and it's not right next to the road, so for the most part, it's quiet.
I went to Dali Yunnan... the mountains and the lake... was so peaceful. Then returned to Beijing's noise and pollution lol
every day in china is a peaceful and quiet for me because i am out of city and have better life peace and quiet
Last time I had a completely silent day was last week. I live a bit far from downtown, the construction site next door was on holidays, people stayed home, I was alone in mine, no TV, no neighbor playing with a drill, phone turned off, no plans, not a single worry... The first time I ever experienced complete silence in 6 years in China. It was so resting it was orgasmic...
llBamBamll:
So the noise level IS actually affecting some people in here. It is good to hear that you finally had some real quite time after 6 years. :)
Thanks for your answers. I hear that it naturally has a lot to say if you are living in a small town or the big city. No big surprise. You may think that is was a broad question to answer, but I was just looking for the general opinion in China. If not I would have targeted this to core cities.
Again, thanks for your answers. I will think about targeting a rather small city at first, as I myself come from a small city in Germany and in Denmark also have been living in a small city - so going for the big cities could maybe easily end up being overwhelming - which even the smaller cities will be for me I think.
This will after all prepare me for my future relocation to China - so excuse me my broad questions in here.
