Q: When will the weather start to get warmer in Shenzhen?

I have never spent a winter in Shenzhen but for being this far south it seems to be pretty cold. I am from south Texas and it never gets this cold there.

It will start next month and gradually get warmer every week until about May when it turns into the hot humid stickey season again...much like Texas.
It seems alot colder now than it should be based on the temperature because of the humidity....it's bloody freezing right now for Shenzhen.
January is the worst, so don't worry it gets better.
Just wait until August when it's 50c with the humidity index....just like Houston.

No worries crimo...you're right...seems pretty petty to complain about the best weather in China. I know you love Shenzhen and come here whenever you can, so why don't you take your next teaching gig here?

I am in Guangxi, it is 4 C outside, and 11.8 C inside the apartment right now.  Thru Jaan and Feb will stay mostly cold, in March you will start to see warmer weather, and in APRIL will have evenb fewer cold days.  From late April or begining of May, you could put safely away your winter clothes.
