Q: Where are the blogs?

The Resident Blogger's posts (her diary + rhetorical questions) for the past 10 days vanished.  Did she delete them herself, or were they removed by The Cat?  Why?

[Not expecting a telling answer.  Just pointing out something's missing.]

Why shouldn't they be deleted? Cat just did her job that's all. If you starve attention whores they'll look for attention elsewhere. Why even bother to ask? The only thing I can think of is you want a raincoat. I don't think you genuinely care.

The last one I saw had her calling everyone here low class.

Maybe she went off on another abusive and highly classy rant at people giving her advice she didn't like and got deleted.

I don't care if she treats the forum like a blog, it entertains people and doesn't do any harm. It's easy to just not click on it if we're not interested.

If she got  salty and abusive again though I could see why she'd get the big delete.

Stiggs, I agree she's entertaining in strange and twisted way, and no one is forced to read or respond to her blogs.  But I don't agree that her language is any more abusive or saltier than other members whose posts don't get deleted.

Sponge, think again.  Points and raincoats mean nothing to me.  And I do care about The Cat wiping out content for questionable reasons.

NZ Teach, although I have no reason to doubt your abilities, I'd rather see The Resident Blogger herself crash and burn, burn and not learn.  There's a tantalizing bit of authenticity to her finer qualities on display that aren't easily duplicated.

Blondie_:

you could predict Viki's behaviour:

1) Viki posts 'question'

2) receives very good advice

3) Viki posts abusive response, showing she neither read or tried to understand what had been said.

IMO there is a limit to tolerance of such a poster who adds nothing by way of useful comments to other people's posts.
I understand that she was already banned twice before over the last 5 years for getting very abusive to people for no reason.

most people have friends in real life who they can confide in and and discuss problems with. Viki is like many Chinese people i met and worked with who were unable to empathise with others, and who could not understand why people got tired of them.

It is sad to see such people, and tempting to get sucked into their narrow world view.

Some of the other posters might be 'saltier' but they exhibit a logic and level of reason this particular poster fails to show, and they are not so abusive so consistently as this one.

No need for the "...like many Chinese people..." comment. Keep it clean.
