Q: Where are size 47 shoes in Shanghai?

Greetings,

In the past when in China I have bought my shoes at Beijing's Silk Market (all of course counterfeit). I am now in Shanghai and am looking to a place comprable to Beijing's Silk Market for shoe shopping.

Is there one? Regular stores I've gone to all cut their shoe sizes off at 45. Even the Decathlon only had up to size 46 basketball shoes (I might even need 48 instead of 47).

I need:

-a pair of basketball shoes

-a pair of business/work shoes

-a pair of everyday shoes (comfy for walking)

Suggestions?

You could try M&S for large size clothes and shoes.

There are shoemakers on South Bund Fabric Market, 399 Lujiabang Lu in Shanghai,

2000 - 3000 Rmb for a pair of hand made shoes out of fake leather.

Caution: Chinese shoemaker can make your shoes too small, for what he'll blame you. There is no refund in China.

You could also order shoes online.
