I'm from Singapore currently in Fushun, Liaoning Province.
My wife is Chinese and after 5 years in Singapore, she can't adapt to the hot weather there, thus looking to settle down long term in China. Have been here for almost a year. 
Ugandan. Another African in China.
Studying Engineering in Chinese. yes, insane.
Been here 1.5yrs . I love/hate the place but it's all good.
Dont travel much these days, I balance about the beijing-tianjin pivot, concentrating on my studies..

i liked the downtown district (tianhe) a lot and the food in guangzhou is way better than in shanghai, especially the grilled food. Seems gz is also slow paced compared to shanghai. But maybe i didnt find the right places in shanghai yet to enjoy it here. Peoples square is kinda boring and i m not a "bar guy"... so dunno what to do here
