Q: Where to buy electronics in Beijing?

I've heard that Zhongguancun has a lot of electronics, but are they good quality? Is it safer to wait until the next time I go home?

You should take a little care when buying from some of the small vendors inside the big electronics malls in Zhongguancun. However you definitely does not need to wait until you can go home to buy electronics. If you go to some of the big nationwide electronics retail chain stores like suning or guomei, you should be on the safe side.
