Q: Where to buy European Cheese

Where can one buy european cheese. Like a Roblechon, Cousteron or a creamy Camenbert? I've been looking everywhere but couldn't find one in Beijing.

Are there any specialty store somewhere? Sometimes i miss a good fondue.

If price isn't an issue, is it possible to find?

The cheese selection in Beijing is limited. It's really difficult finding artisan farmhouse cheese here. Most of what you get is imported factory cheese like cheddar and gouda. But your best bet is checking out the cheese counters at April Gourmet or Jenny Lou's. Though they only have a small selection, they do have whole bries and other cheeses like comte. I also saw that April Gourmet sells prep-packed gruyere cheese which is perfect for fondue.

There's also a local guy who makes French cheese called Le Fromager de Pekin. He does Camembert.
