Q: Where to buy natural products in Guangzhou

organic foods and ingredients, natural toileteries, washing powders, supplements without the additives, 100% pure coconut oil and pure essential oils etc etc.

Something like what you'd find in Holland and Barrett in the UK.

Are they generally cheaper than what you'd find in the UK?

I do not know if Corner's Deli will carry what you seek, but I have found many foreign products there.  They have 8 locations within Guangzhou, they one I visit is located on the basement of CITIC PLAZA, on 10, Unit SC-01, Back Street BM, CITIC Plaza 233, Tian He Bei Lu, and their phone number is 020-3877-1400.  They are maybe one half block away from Westin Hotel, near East Guangzhou Train Station and the US Consulate.

Good luck

A:Getting my second dose of Moderna in a couple weeks. This is perhaps the only benefit of being in the US now. Then I can go to one of the countries that allows vaccinated tourists. IMO, worth the wait. @Nasboroguy: The Chinese government has already admitted that their two vaccines are not as effective as they initially said. No big surprise. Now they are talking about mixing Sinopharm/Sinovac with Astrazeneca. Covid may be (barely) contained in China, but as long as the billions of people there haven't received an effective vaccine, the entire country will be at risk of continuous outbreaks such as Thailand is dealing with now. If you have access to an effective vaccine (there are a few including Pfizer, Moderna, and even Sputnik V) then I would just get it. Sure, the effectiveness will wane after a year or two, but that's what booster shots are for. Although I don't understand why people wouldn't want to get a vaccine, I respect their decision not to get it. As for myself, I feel as if a tremendous burden has been lifted and I can soon walk into a bar for a pint (just not in the US, haha). -- Quinn68
