Q: Where to buy Pentax camera
Does anyone where I can buy a Pentax DSLR in Nanning at a reasonable cost. Have looked at Taobao but was not impressed by the prices.

You could always wait just a little while for the new Nokia 808 Pureview cellphone that was unveiled today. It has a frickin' 41 megapixel camera! No, I did not forget the decimal. 41 megapixels. Un-frickin-believable. And here I thought I was all hot with my new amsung Galaxy Note.
Nanning, or in general all of mainland China, is not the place to buy goods from abroad because of the import duties charged to those items. What I do, since I do make trips to HKG, is to wait until I go there, and then shop around for what I need while there.
My Fuji digital camera was well over the equivalent of $ 1,100 US dollars in Nanning, I bought it in HKG for right under $ 600. Same with my Motorola cell phone, here was over 1800 Rmb, in HKG was around 1,100 Rmb.
Go check e-bay! I've never been disappointed in finding something I wanted at a reasonable price. They will have that camera that you are looking for on both the buy it now auction and the auction up for bid. You need to first have a paypal account, but it's not too hard to figure out.

Yeah, go and buy from eBay, payfor camera and shipping charges to China, then must go to Customs an pay import duty taxes, and endup spending more than if you bought it here. Dumb reply !
