Does anyone know where I can buy a passport cover booklet in Guangzhou? So far the only place I found has the cover priced at an outrageous 100 rmb for a cheap PRC Cover. Could someone point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance.
I got a free PVC one from the British Consulate in GZ a few years ago. It has lasted well, and has emergency contact numbers printed on the back.
The UK commerce people are having a British Day in March. 16th I think. Somewhere in Tienhe. Head along there and the consulate staff will likely be handing them out as freebees. Should fit any standard passport.
Hopefully "The happy Monk" will be there too with their great fish and chips

That's if they take enough bloody stock this time! They'd run out by 12.30 at the international day!
If you have an Internet in Guangzhou see here:

Yahoo-gle is full of 'where' links.
You're such a 'passport cover'.....

yeah, I'ved owned/carried one of theirs for a good eight years now..... it's only getting better with age. :) expensive at the get go, but not so much when you price it out over the life of the item.

I have some items, which were very expensive when I bought them, but as you say with years, high price get leveled. Still wear 30-years old handmade leather boots, and I am a walker.
My wallet is similar as items on your web link. Some 15-years old leather pocket size, bought at Macy's for US$50. I could have 5 regular valets for the same price at the time. The only thing is valet is US$ note size, so now Rmb, HK$, Eur all hang out. Always when I pull my wallet out of the pocket, it looks like show-offing, because of all red-ers 1/3rd on the outside....
I thought passport covers became redundant since most, if not all immigration points will tell you to remove your passport from any type of cover before you get to the counter. You'll probably damage the binding on your passport more from putting it in and taking it out of a cover VS not using a cover at all.
