Q: Where can I buy a Thanksgiving turkey in Shanghai?
I'm doing the unimaginable: cooking my own TG dinner this year! Anyone know where I can pick up a turkey and roughly how much they cost?
I saw Walmart selling turkeys... I don't know what the prices were though... I'd recommend checking out the bigger supermarkets: Walmart, Carrefour, Park n Shop, etc.
Wow! Good luck with that, as an aside do you have an oven, is it big enough?
I don't think I've seen an oven (excluding microwave / combination ovens) in Nanning let alone a big one.
Nessquick:
the biggest oven i saw here is just for common sized chicken. And still not buy it :(
I saw turkey in Carefour, JinQiao branch. Prices are sexy, 300-600rmb.
Walmart should have one of the cheapest prices in town. You could probably get a turkey for less than 100 kuai!
Metro also carries them but they are seasonal and very pricey.
