Q: where can i change the broken dollar?

dear everyone! i have one broken 100 usd in hand. i was in a hurry to take it from my bag, suddenly one small corner was teared. i went to bank of china,abc ,ccb,icbc banks in guangzhou,but all bank staff said cannot change a complete one. so i would like to know where can i change this broken dollar? thank you!

If a bank will accept it they will send it to the US 1st and if.. the Us accept it they will exchange it, i had this experiance

The best place to have a chance to exchange it would be the currency exchange at the airport... you'll get horrible rates, but if you really need to trade in the money, I've haven't had any problem with them taking my old bills.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
