Q: Where can I eat al fresco in Shanghai?

The weather is finally decent! Where are the best places to enjoy a meal outdoors with friends?

If you’re willing to drop some serious RMB, check out Abundant Green Garden (on Wuxing Lu near Hengshan Lu), which offers a huge lawn and patio to go along with your shark fin soup and abalone. Mediterraneo in the Luwan District is also not for the light-of-wallet, but serves up great Italian food on its extensive patio. The French Connection’s Bistro Latitude has a second floor terrace where you can enjoy French cuisine while people watching as the birds do.
