Q: Where can I find a middle school in Beijing to teach mathematics in English?

I have a Bachelor's degree in mathematics and have had some years of experience in teaching middle school mathematics. Is there any school (middle school) in Beijing that is in need of an English-medium mathematics teacher?

There once was an ad online for a position teaching math and science at one of the middle schools. Not sure if that position has been filled or not. Check the classifieds and see if those jobs are still available. Last time I checked they had a position for a math teacher but this was several months ago.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage.
