Q: Where can I get my tattoo removed in China??
Has anyone had theirs removed or know anyone who has ? What was the cost and where did you have it done ?
I really want rid of this and was hoping it would be cheaper here in China.
The cheapest place would be neighboring thailand. Not sure they do that here but if they did it would cost more than thailand. Also watch out people caught aids here from getting tattoos shared needles.
If you can please tell us where you are then we might be in a better position to offer you some concrete advice. For example, in Beijing, I would suggest that you contact the Dermatology Department at the No. 1 People's Hospital. In Guangzhou, the No. 2 Sun Yat-Sen Hospital; Shanghai the No. 1 Affiliated Eastern China University Medical Center. having a tattoo properly removed is almost as dangerous as having it drawn in the first place.

I would say more so. A good friend of mine had a tattoo removed in Nanning and several weeks later woke up in the toilet in a pool of his own faeces and vomit, blood poisoning was the cause (not alcohol as was my first assumption) and the tattoo was still there.
I had a tattoo removed recently, it cost 400 for something the size of a coin and I got septicemia, had to spend the night in hospital, lost a day of work and all told a couple of thousand. The tattoo is still visible too. Good luck.
