Q: Where can I get a suit tailored in Guangzhou?
I'm going there soon and will stay for 5 days. I intend on getting a suit tailor made. Can anybody recommend a good-quality, low-cost tailor? (one who won't rip me off and can get the job done in under 5 days)
You can Go to Big Hotel for high class , but is beter dont make it , is beter make it at Hongkong
Since you don't mention what kind of suit, try Panyu Prison, in Huijinag,Guangzhou. They have a fine selection prison outfits.Jeiyang prison in Yujiao, Jeidong and Jiangman Prison,Jiangman, Guangzhou are actually listed as clothing factories, so make and appointment, I'm sure they can help you out or in.
Guangzhou Psychiatric Hospital, which is the oldest psychiatric hospital in China produces furniture and some clothing. Ask for Lulu Zhang MD or Nuping Ning MD ,tell them Ted sent you and to give yo the full treatment. Ask for a little extra length in the arms tho.OK no problem ! 
I live here in GZ and had somethings made, not to bad but I agree with the other poster I recommend Hong Kong
