Q: Where can you order a Turkey for Thanksgiving in Beijing?
How does one order a Turkey in Beijing and how expensive are they. I should probably get on this early as I bet they sell out quickly. Can you order them through foreign food supermarkets? Or are there cheaper places?
Just in case you do not find one in Beijing, you can try emailing at "nnpantry@163.com" or calling them at 0771-2814209 or 13978834295. I have no idea if they will ship the turkey to Beijing or not, and they have from 5 kilos to 12 kilos, imported from USA. As far as me, at 49.5 yuan per kilo of weight, I will most probably eat a big fat local chicken instead.
Or also try Taobao at
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.29.bhxdEb&id=21032367444
They charge 23 yuan per yin (0.5 kilo) plus shipping.
Since Happy has given the social educate answer and has answered your question thumbs up by the way Happy on both posts My I also add that Matty does Clown parties and can also be utilized as a Pinata or a Chinese substitute for a Turkey

Check out Sanyuanli market near Sanyuanqiao on line 10, they're one of the best expat oriented food markets and I'm sure you can order turkeys there.
