Q: Where to find foreign guy for longterm relationship?
I have met some foreign guy in hostel,but most of them are just visiting here who will leave soon,those guys won't consider about long-term relationship.Even some are considering about seriously relationship with me,but still most of them are just visitting,it is so hard to get kown each other better via on-line chatting after they leave,and it takes too much time.So now I am considering looking for foreign guy who is working in Shanghai and have residence here also.Do you think how can I meet them?And where?It's 2013,my aim is to find myself a good foreign boyfriend.

The next time you see a foreign man you find attractive, repeat this line to him. "Excuse me? Hello. Would you have coffee with me some time? I think you are very handsome and I would like to get to know you." This will convey to him that you learn more about him, and that you would like to date him, but it isn't so forward that he will assume you're DTF. Or just let me know next time you're near Shandong, I'll introduce you to Amonk.

Well, we know there is ever increasing disparity between demand and supply of laowai, so I honestly think your chances of landing a good, available laowai within a year isn't that high. However, I would recommend few places, such as universities, particularly the ones that offer Chinese language courses, expat bars and coffee shops would be other potential sites, then you can volunteer at the airport if you have time , It is the place you really want to be to find fresh foreigners who haven't tasted Chinese girls yet, and may have skipped the yellow fever vaccine shots before departure from their home countries.

I have moved into international hostel to look for a good one,but most of them are not suitable to run into a long-term relationship with as I told in my post already.

I have never taken a flight from Shanghai airport, but I have seen many young people volunteering at Beijing airport, they help passengers with luggage and guide them to the gates, etc.
Going to language schools is a good option as I have said before, but try to be easy going with foreigners, don't talk to people about marriage on the first date.

Spend all your time waiting at the airport looking for fresh off the plane foreigners. You get first choice this way. There will be alot of passengers, but not many caucaians on the flights. Just say welcome to China, I want to marry you.

A good way to meet a foreigner is to go to a university, in the evening and after classes... there always seem to be groups of Chinese students who wish to practice their English with each other and many times there is at least one foreigner who really can speak English with them.
And, a foreigner can also meet some very nice Chinese women. Been there, done that.
Go to a foreign country I'm sure you could find at least one foreign guy to your liking there.

Ok, it depends on which kind of guy do you want... I think you probably don't want someone you met at a bar... just saying. You shouldn't actually think about it... just go out and if you find a foreign guy just talk to him and offer help (he might be lost... or something), even if he doesn't need help it's a nice way to make conversation... you might end up exchanging phone numbers and/or mails afterwards. Beware though, what Silverstein said is true... many foreigners will try to bang girls in the name of love. Just don't fool yourself believing X person wouldn't do it...
