Q: Where to get unique souvenirs, gifts?

I've been in China for awhile now and want to get my parents gifts, but I'm running out of options and the whole silk pyjama and old mini statue kind of thing isn't really cutting it anymore.  Any ideas for creative/unique China inspired gift ideas?

Go to the flea market, and dig.

I always bought some small local artworks.

Be careful not to buy really old items without a certificate (stamp) that allows You to take it out of China.

I don't recommend this kind of souvenir with all the cameras in China, maybe they were sold to dubai as well.

A:It depends from where you're receiving it ... and what kind of puter/OS you're using. I have MBP without Windows OS ... and once I mark certain email as spam, next time it lands directly into the Spam folder and gets deleted automatically after few days. If I receive email from site I subscribed, i.e. I gave them my email address, I must unsubscribe first and emails stop. I don't know how Windows based machines operate ... -- icnif77
