Q: where is an inexpensive place to shop for inexpensive but decent furniture in Shenyang?
If you don't know much Chinese, your best bet is to stick with IKEA. There are plenty of furniture malls around the city but they tend to a bit a bit pricey and you'd need a local to negotiate the price down a bit. An alternative would be to join one of the WeChat/Facebook expat groups where you can get a hold of some decent second-hand furniture.
