Q: where to practice wing chun?
I would love to find someone to train with me in Shanghai.I am not looking for schools but for someone who wants to supplement their training by going to a park and chi sao’ing/sparring/anything you want. My philosophy is that I want to test my skills against someone, and as a result they will too, it is a mutually beneficial enterprise so that we can both learn and improve. I have been training in martial arts since I was 12. Thanks for your answers
If you haven't already, try the Shanghai expat websites ( I assume there'd be at least one still operating) and Wechat groups. They would probably have more Shanghai ren checking in than ECC does.
Good luck.

You should be practising walking backwards ... until I'll be back to ... Shang ...
Walkin' backwards as strange as it looks, will increase your feet balance before I'll nage-waza-you.
That's in Japs .., i.e. Judo move when you lift opponent's grounded foot and pull his/her opposite arm toward the ground.
Soon after I nage-waza somebody, you can hear loud 'THUUMP' 'cause opponent's body had fallen to the ground and you are in the same position as at the AM's wake-up.
Good morning!
You have never been to Okinawa .... I know ..

Everybody Wang Chun tonight! :p
seriously,,, i might know much about ur fancy hai karate, japanese judo junk,,, but I challenge u to push-ups right here and now! c'mon Man! That's no malarkey! Lucky I don't take u behind the gym and get ol' Corn-pop on u!
For the best wing chun in Shanghai, head down Blow Job Street to the end, turn left at the dilapidated public toilet and there is a quaint little mom and pop dapaidang that marinates them and bbqs them to perfection..
