Fist of all, you are assuming that everyone likes to travel in China..NOT. Taiwan,Japan (although very expensive) and Hong Kong (also expensive)

Thailand.  Not very expensive and it is very easy for my Chinese wife to travel there.

Korea 10/10   (Based on my times there 4-5 years ago)

Thailand 6/10   (Liked the beaches and jungles, hated everything else)

 

 

Also HK is great too

I've only been to Thailand which I liked. The natives speak more English, it's hot in the winter and a Chinese Gf can easily get a visa to go there.The natives are very polite and have that cute hand clasp to say thankyou or goodbye.
