Q: Where/how to search for employees in China?

Hello all! I hope that someone can help me out with this issue:

I recently opened a restaurant chain in China and since our target market are all the small cities I am having a big trouble and frustrating time finding reliable employees, not to mention, finding people who would even consider the job. This is because I have no idea where to look for employees or know where  Chinese people get online to find a job. I have had several employees but with the Chinese New Year, as I was told, most of the people tent to change jobs and therefore nothing is reliable or certain.

Apparently, according to my Chinese friends, the newspaper is not something Chinese people use to search for a job in this country as of in the USA and most of other countries.

I would like to know if someone knows about a web page that I can use to post an ad, or if there is a different method to search for employment here in China. The ones that I’ve hired are people who just stop by the restaurant and simply say that they want to work.

Anything? Thanks! :Innocent

Hi,

Lots of local websites can do!

http://www.zhaopin.com/

http://www.51job.com/these two are popular .

http://www.yingjiesheng.com/this one is basically for college kids.

Above are professional recruitment webs.

Also if you don't require degrees or anything, maybe you could go to 58.com or ganji.com to post your ad. They're like Craiglist in China.
