It is very easy to do the comparison if yu Google "interest rates on Chinese bank accounts". Of course, on savings account they do not pay much, but time deposits (what we call CD), the longer you leave the money, the better it gets up to 5 years. I have one CD with Bank of China at 6.5 % yearly for 5 years now.
