Q: Which Chinese presents?
This summer I'll visit my in-laws including my nephew who is five years old. They say bring him some things from China, but what? I don't think chopsticks will be enough, and it may be a few years early for baijiu.
Can you help this laoshi? What Chinese gifts should I bequeath to His Nephewness?
Please, any help is appreciated.

I gave a nephew of the same age a box of dvds. Twenty odd cartoons and kid's films. P**s cheap out here. I'd avoid cuddly toys though, you never know what they're made of. Kid stands too close to a naked flame and 'WOOF', you'll never be invited round for dinner again.

DVD9 is the better quality. Most should work once they get played back home. Best check them first though.
how about you buy him Chinese trains toy like maglav, it's something he can put in his room and you can find them online.
