Hao about a million times down the telephone.
It sounds like a sarcastic laugh hahahahahahahahaha.
Actually everything is horrible if it's being shout down the phone on a public bus!
"有什么事 - you shen me shi" ( what's the matter)? when I call a friend. I understand they dont mean to be rude but I find the tone with which this is asked rude. Makes me feel I am bothering the person with my call....they don't have even a minute to listen to me. I have explained this to a few friends - they understood and so far so good. However, I still get it from a million others...irritates me so much!!!!
HALLO! Followed by a loud fit of laughter, like John Cleese has just goose-stepped across the room. (Yeh, I know it's not Chinese, but.....)

Go easy Crea. I'm off to bed.
绿色 lvse--green 法律 falv--law (the "V"s are umlauts)... I still don't pronounce the umlauts well enough to avoid the smirks from Chinese people when I say these two words. GOSH!
