Q: Which city is best for Chinese?
I know this question may be something which should be on another websites forum but it still involves Chinese and expats on this forum might be able to provide some other information.
A small group of young adult Chinese women who I work with are planning a short trip to Canada and have narrowed it down to Vancouver or Toronto, they are asking which city is better to visit but I am not Canadian neither have I been to Canada so I am hoping for some help here. They are typically into bargain shopping and mainly want to do and see as much possible on a budget and I would be so thankful if someone can point me in the right direction as everyday I go to work and there are these questions about Canada and I can’t seem to get them off my back. They have this mentality that because I am from the west I would know every western country/face, they still can’t believe I don’t know every western face in this city!!!
Any advice would be welcome cheers and I did offer to flip a coin but it hasn’t worked!
If they want to experience Canada then tell them Toronto.
if they want to feel like they are at home tell them Vancouver!
Hopefully you'll get serious answers later from some of our Canuck posters.

Vancouver for the beauty of Canada (in and around) but expensive.
Toronto for the multicultural feel, but bland.
Montreal for a view of a truly cosmopolitan experience, culture and shopping, but the language barrier (predominantly French).
If they want a middle ground and an unforgettable experience, I'd suggest Banff , although I prefer Jasper.
BHGAL:
can't argue with Banff or Jasper, they are truly beautiful places.
from a BC boy, anything east of the Rockies is unihabitable .... Vancouver should be the destination flight, but then the exploration begins after you get out of YVR and the lower mainland
try Lone Butte, or Rosswood, or Salmo, Kelowna, Vernon, Osoyoos, Bella Coola, Port Hardy, Parksville, Bamfield, Terrace, Sandspit.
point being the big city is not the beauty of the place..
want a real Canadian and unbelievable experience? try this http://www.qcsafaris.com/
and no I am not an employee or paid advertiser.... it is just an amazing experience.
why not give them a link to Canada goverment tourism site that has Chinese translation app
good luck
