Q: Which domestic airline in China provides best services?
I flew during the national holiday from Hangzhou to Beijing via Hainan Airline and found the services to be quite good. Every passenger seat on the aircraft is equipped with a TV monitor that can allow you to choose over 30 or 40 different movies plus other sport games or featured travel destinations to watch in flight. It seems every one was quite happy with the services onboard. The seat also has more leg room and the business class seat is as modern and comfortable as many international airlines operated in long haul. I wonder if Hainan Airline is the best domestic airline operated in China now. Any opinion from fellow readers?

Never been on Hainan Airlines or have I ever flown business class. For short haul domestic flights it is more price driven for me. Spring are very cheap but I am tall and the is no legroom whatever. I prefer Air China, China Southern over China Eastern of the 3 I have flown, but not by enough to make me go away from the cheapest.
I find that the service on domestic flights is about the same on most airlines. Quite often, when I book a ticket online, I don't know what airline it's with until I get to the airport. I agree that Hainan airlines is one of the best just because they offer a more exotic selection of fruit juices and the air hostesses are always very friendly. I've never had a bad experience with China Southern either and Air China is usually good too, except for more frequent delays.
Hainan is supposed to be the best. The others are only average.
