Q: Which food that they consider delicacies here freaked you out the most?

I would say the live scorpions. Those little creatures squirming on the stick freaked me out when I saw it for the first time at Wangfujing. . . Anything freaked you out?!?

Rabbits' heads.

But the worst part was when my friend ate their eyeballs. I felt really dizzy for a few seconds.

Batter fried chicken cartilage. It's not gross or disgusting but why? Simply, why?

BTW dead scorpions are tasty. I'm not sure I'd like the live ones but if you can control the tail, why not?

I've seen whole tiny small birds cooked on skewers like kabobs. Whole baby deep fried chicks.

I have seen pups and asked if they were for meat, yes but they are not regular dogs, they are meat dogs, BS. Dogs left to randomly breed will breed back to a basic dog, a medium/small dog with a short coat and a curly tail. One night I saw crates of dogs being loaded on a small motorcycle pickup truck. I think they had been dropped off on the street from a bigger truck. I was so upset but realized I could do nothing about this. The pups were of different varieties, some had long fur. The pups were not being handled humanely.
I avoided placed where I might see dogs or cats butchered or hanging.
