Q: Which is the friendliest place?

After the question, what is the  unfriendliest place in China, I would like to ask, which is the friendliest place in China. In my opinion Nanning in Guangxi is one of the friendliest.

My vote goes to Hong Kong (HK). It's the friendliest city by far! Taxi's will stop to pick you up no matter what the color of your skin is. Everybody seems nice and helpful there. I never had a complaint while visiting there. (Drunk!

He he, I said: "matter"!

OK Silva-Mattaya, whats your story? You are obviously not an American school teacher. Yet you keep pretending. Is this your CCP assigned position or are you just crazy? Your posts lack intelligence or any depth. You are either young with no experience or not very smart. I also think that you may be a woman, since you never mention women and this site is predominately male. What ever your game is, no one buys it, you failed. Go tell your boss that you failed. Unless of course you are here to be annoying and not liked or welcome.

BTW your come backs suck. You're only given one spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.

Liuzhou, Guangxi. Spent a year there in 2009-10 and had a whale of a time. Locals are insane.

Haven't seen much of the country except for business or leisure trips to the Big 3 - BJ, SH & GZ.

But I live in QD and I wouldn't trade it for any of the aforementioned.

Laid back, easy pace (albeit crazy at times), manageable urban setting, nice cafes, bars, restos, relatively low cost of living, beaches, mountains, farm country, pretty good air.  Equidistant to BJ & SH.

Locals are friendly, courteous, helpful and have a sense of humor.  Don't see the arrogance, ignorance and excess among locals or expats that you see in the Big 3.  Have had no issues living here.

So, for my money (and peace of mind), QD is the friendliest place and I'm not willing to look for a friendlier place, at this point.
