Generally speaking, foreign-admitted practitioners are generally limited to the larger and private clinics in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Beijing.  These clinics, however, do require that one being licensed to practice medicine in one's own country of residence first.  Might I suggest that you contact one of the International Clinics in Shanghai, for example, either Parkway or the Clinic Attached to China Eastern University, and speak with one of their foreign-born physicians?

There are many hospitals in China who have foreign doctors working in them.

Licensing in China is carried out on a provincial level so each province has a different licensing authority.

English speaking doctors are really needed for patients who speak English but foreign doctors with special skills or experience are needed in China.

We employ many foreign doctors and we are always happy to help with any inquiries on working in China.

greiiss:

hello , are you still employing Drs? Im a foreigner but locally trained . I'd love to work in Shanghai.
