Q: Which shampoo do you use here?
I have been experimenting with Shampoo here. Done head and shoulders... but not sure if it is the same quality as at home. Right now I'm using syloss? Not sure if this is working for me. I have quite long curly hair too, so if I have a bad shampoo everything just goes wrong.
Have you tried conditioners, if all else fails, try gutter oil.
Vidal Sassoon. can buy the big size (750ml) @ WallyWorld on sale (75rmb?) and then it's pretty reasonable. Lasts me a heck of a long time.... I've used it most of my adult life, still my fave.
I keep my head shaved, so no shampoo.

She is inquiring about shampoo, as in hair. If you are bald, why waste time to reply to something that is not relevant to discussion?

I didn't say bald, I said shaved. As in, cut extremely short.
It's an option for anyone who doesn't want to take the risk of using potentially toxic shampoo.
Which makes it relevant to the topic at hand.

the original poster is a woman with "long curly hair", so your regiment and comment for someone with a shaved head is irrelevant. she was asking a simple question for shampoo for those who chose to have hair. you can take your shaved head and join the HK democracy protest

If the question was "What shampoo should I use in China," then your statement would be valid. However, that was not the question. It was "Which shampoo do you use here?" This makes it an individualized question, with each of us to be answering with our own personal preferences. Her hair, long or short or non-existant, has no bearing on any of the answers.
The only brand i trust is L'Oreal - bought from a foreign supermarket.
costs a bit more, but does what it is supposed to.
BTW, what kind of experimenting have you done??

Washing my hair with some random types of shampoo, buying 'organic' shampoo off the internet, etc. Just the usual for someone who is confused about shampoo

You want to say: 'I trust Chinese made 'Loreal...!?'

Strangely enough during a trip back home I met a hairdresser who had worked for a semester in china. I was given directions on how to source non made in China shampoo. Sounds bizarre I know.
Since i started working in china, random and bizarre seems to be the norm

Thanks I will try L'Oreal - I was hoping for a cheaper solution, but alas.
Matsuyama for both shampoo and conditioner, and I buy it in Hong-Kong because I live in Guangdong, I also buy most of everything I put on my skin or hair over there, it is simply out of question for me to use Chinese brands, god knows what industrial grade chemicals they put in it, and I don't trust that most foreign brands sold here are genuine, or at least are not using the same formula as they would back home. Chinese all the time: "Why are your hair looking so good?"

My upper-headaa with 2mm long, not 'too congested' hair line. Some hair here and there.
I'm using Chinese baby soap for body and heads, face shaving too.
I have 'Deutch (real) horse tail brush', which does smooth job when dipped into Chinese baby soap.
Well , I use Tsubaki and Kerasys (Japanese and Korean brands). I have long hair , so I'm quite selective. These ones are great.
