Ironically, China has opened the world of American tv shows to me. My current favs are Modern Family, Vampire Diaries and Revenge.
11 years 6 weeks ago in Arts & Entertainment - China
raising hope , broke girls , big bang theory, last resort
an interesting one year only show i found from australia was "the slap"
justified, house and burn notice when the wife is not home
wish they had some old shows of mash or married with children

I wonder if any of the pirate DVD markets would have the Married With Children Box Set?
Sons of Anarchy .. NCIS ... Bones .. According to Jim
Same as before moving to China, The Simpsons, Top Gear (UK, not the silly US or aussi versions) The Big Bang Theory, How I met Your Mother.
But I must say, as I watch zero Chinese TV, the access to American shows is "more important"
I can't believe no-one's said Homeland! Sons of Anarchy is great too...bad boys on motorbikes...oh yeah!
I burned through 2 seasons of Homeland and 2.5 seasons of The Walking Dead in the span of just a week or two
I love China because I can (illegally) download an entire series and burn through it in a matter of weeks, instead of years. That's nice because if a show goes downhill, I don't feel like I've wasted years of my life committing myself to it.
The Wire
Newsroom
Walking Dead
Justified
Californication
Misfits
Girls
Africa (David Attenborough)
Started Homeland and Breaking Bad. Need to pick back up.
Just finishing up BSG now.
Is it weird that watching foreign TV has become one of my favorite things about this country?

If you can access it, take a look here www.couchtuner.eu . This site has most of what you have been watching and more. Ok it is a streaming website and yes it does mean waiting weeks on end for series to finish. But if you get anything from it, then I would at least like to think its ideas on what you can use as your back up.
