China won't change for you... is a common phrase you hear. When I hear it, I often think of Nietzsche's quote about democracy/socialism being for everyone and no-one.
Why would anyone be contented with the status quo? Who are these people and what segment of the population do they represent?
99%. I hear it often. Pretty much every time I get pissed. " You cant change everyone" like thats a valid reason to just sit there and take it in the ass.
Nope I cant change everyone but i can scare the shit out of this dude and he wont do it to the next guy. And maybe he will tell everyone he knows that if you stop your group of friends to point out the laowai that laowai will come over and humiliate you and emasculate you in front of everyone.
Its not everyone but its a start!

"It's for Chinese."
As all the locals here will be so quick to remind you... all day... everyday.
Mainlanders are still operating with a master-slave mindset. The master said, 'Slave, you change, you do this MY way'. The slaves, boiling with anger inside, filled with jeolousy, hatred, kowtow and walk out.
Well known fact, the majority of victims invariably become abusers when they are given the chance. Mainlanders are convinced they earned the abuser privilege thus they are saying to the world, "You change, I am your master, and abuser."
It is impossible for psychopaths with damaged minds to understand a simple truth, to change your mind first you must have one.
coineineagh:
nice one. i was going to answer "the rich", as in this is a playground for rich bullies and poor cowards. but you explained it better.
earthizen:
Thanks. They are the same, a sick conundrum it is - both abuser and victim are psychopaths. The truth is, PRC needs to be quarantined immediately, period.
Eorthisio:
China is a playground for the rich indeed. But that didn't prevent me from knocking down quite a few of those arrogant 2nd gen riches over the years when they were messing with the foreigner. I never got in troubles for it, they got what they deserved. Now they probably think that I punched them because I am jealous of all their wealth and status, they will never admit that it was because they are arrogant, self entitled idiots.
