Q: Who is China's biggest military ally?

International geopolitical relations aside...as most  are just smoke and mirrors.

If push came to shove...who would really back China against...say...the US?

That's a tough one

I'm sure China would back up Nth Korea but I doubt it would be reciprocated

Russia has nothing to gain

their best option would be a  Dept collection agentwink

Interesting question. Maybe someone knowledgeable about these things will chime in. Off the top of my head, it seems like no one would ally with the PRC...

but I'm guessing,, probably not Japan or Philippines,,,

China has made a point of being a solo entity throughout the years. They would ask for help from no one, even if it meant the annihilation of every man, woman and child, because in their nationalistic pride, they do not see themselves as capable of losing.

From external sources:

China currently address United States as their greatest ally and their greatest enemy.

They depend on each other far too much to ever break into war.
However because both have individual views as well equal amount of power, it is likely that one day a war might break out after all. If this day were to ever happen (the percentage is closer to 0 then it is to 1%), it would be a nuclear war.

My only fear is that if a war were ever to break out between them... the United States might have a Chinese American internment, the same way they did with the Japanese during world war II.

I hope a day such as this will never happen!

China's allies=
Russia (Nuclear and world Power)
SCO (Strategic ally in Central Asia)
Burma (strategic Asian ally)
Venezuela (Latin American strategic ally)
Zimbabwe (Strategic African ally)
Pakistan (Major partner and Nuclear power)
Iran (Middle eastern ally and regional power)
Cuba (Latin American strategic ally)
North Korea (Traditional cold war ally with nuclear weapons)
Sudan (Strategic African ally)
Syria (Strategic middle eastern ally)
Serbia (Possible future ally now that America has pissed them off with Kosovo)

China friendly- Angola, Algeria, Bangladesh, Brunei, Bolivia, Chile, Cambodia, Cuba, Egypt, Fiji, Ethiopia, Greece, Iran, Jordan, Kazakstan, Laos, Liberia, Mauritius, Nepal, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Belarus, Myanmar, Senegal, Serbia, Sierre Leone, Syria, Tanzania, Tonga, Uganda, Singapore, Venezuela, Zambia, most Arab, and African countries.

Hostile towards China- India, Italy, Iceland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Danmark, France, Germany, Norway, Paraguay, Ireland, Poland, Sweden, Canada, US, Britain, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Jews

Wow you mentioned so many countries..
Fiji????  i need a microscope.
Serbia?????  You have no idea about what is on the Serbs mind..they are Europeans first...Chetniks won't bail out China
Sweden????? the smallest army in Europe (excluding Monaco, MC Lichtenstein etc)
The most Marxist country in Europe, they have no money to pay for the local Police..
if you got robbed that's too bad, you failed to make an appointment with the police in advance.
Norway???? Not as bad as the Sweden is but bad enough to turn the blind eye if China is attacked.. besides they are busy changing their Constitution every week or so.
Paraguay???? Am I reading right? the general is gone
Poland???? they actually love Chinese.. trust me on this one.
Denmark????? you must be from Denmark or Norway because your spelling was Danish or Norwegian "Danmark" look Danes are busy as well, they lost Greenland and people failed to find it on the news...
Czech Republic?  you must be kidding me..the most friendly people in Europe... Also trust me on this one as well..
Iceland?????? nothing there? no army? Banks are gone as well (busted)
Greece???? China friendly?  Who told you this?  You must comprehend the Greek mind (and it varies anyway) first.
No Themistocles Navy will bail out China anytime soon... and Spartans will be busy as usual guarding the flanks.
JEWS ?????????????????????????  Well they are almost everywhere, which country was on your mind?

Greatest allies would likely be Russia, Syria (well, what hasn't been blown to pieces yet), Afghanistan, and loosely maybe some other Middle Eastern countries like Pakistan and Iran.

I think you can see why China chooses to stay out of other countries affairs, they haven't exactly made many friends  the last 5,000 years, and are not in a position to become strongly allied with any superpower unless they changed the form of government to match western beliefs.  Right or wrong, that won't be happening anytime soon as China's economy continues to soar due to smart and well executed policies.  Who needs friends when you become filthy rich on your own?

1000000% Russia or "Euroasian empire" rather Wink
For the very same reasons ( metaphorically speaking) as when R. Nixon came to China.

USA is China's greatest military ally. Canada is probably China's best ally and partner (but not militarily of course, due to Canada's small size).

No one would back China against the US except the smaller dictatorship or socialist countries. That being said, I would never foresee China ever attacking anyone much less a large scale country. Besides with Obama's new policy for Chinese Visa's, I don't think anyone has anything to worry about. It will boost China's economy and the US also too. And the main part is' " it boosts my personal economy too",

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
