Q: Who decides " Answer of the day" ?

Not to brag or anything, but I currently have answer of the day.  Except I didnt even get best answer for that particular question. In fact i was down ticked..... So how is this possible?  Magic?  Does the "Answer of the day" lady have a thing for me?  Who decides such things?? And does everyone else see the same answer of the day?

Answer of the Day is determined by one of the administrators. It has nothing to do with the number of thumbs up.

Constructive answers that are neutral or positive in tone are more likely to get Answer of the Day. Answers that are critical tend not to, though this hasn't always been the case (administration has changed a few times I think).
