Reading threads on Mars here, I fell like I was there once or twice already:

Are you spasticinchina@wtf.com?

Discover Lands on Mars

Is it true that China plans to plant some veggies in Mars?

So about that probe to Mars...?

Why is the Chinese lunar lander named after a rabbit?

Few more pints and new jacket ..... in my no-ne-existent jacket collection.

That's Phil stick it to you. I just extend his line . He's really bad sometimes, I concur!!

I didn't watch it, but I remember the line from 'Rain Man' 1988, great flick.

I got into 'The Last Samurai' 2003, greatest T. Cruise role, IMO. Am into Martial arts, beside beautiful Asian women.

If you mean a manned mission then a private Dutch company will be going in about 6 years.

Will they be returning? I heard that's the hardest part...

Lord_hanson:

@shining, no, they plan to have them live there. They will broadcast the events on a 24 hour feed. This is how they plan to make their money back. It is pretty much a death sentence for those who go (volunteers who are currently undergoing training) but their deaths will help pave the way for a more permanent human settlement on Mars.

China is already building a military island on Mars, all hail China.

How  dare you even post such a question.

I wanted to do a "little green man on mars" image - but couldn't find the one I wanted (but, oddly... I did get Jennifer Lawrence shooting a bow from a Hunger Games scene come up... search results are weird!)

The question is, Delphine, who is going to be first to get to you? I'm pretty sure you have never been "annexed".

I don't know about other places. But at the capital, with all the smog and traffic people are more concerned about having trouble getting to work and not getting to Mars.

If problems getting to work is resolved, I don't see how China will have any issues getting to Mars...first.
