Q: Who is the luckiest laowai in China?

And by lucky, I mean the one with the best job. It has to be a unique position in a specific firm.

Da Shan - don't know what he really does but gets everything in China.

Anelka - plays for Shanghai FC gets paid just over 90 million RMB a season to play some soccer in a below par soccer league "the 32-year-old is heading for the Far East where he will pick up £9.2MILLION PER SEASON at struggling Shenhua.

nevermind:

I saw a doc on him today... he is not a very smart guy.

Da shan, the first "white monkey". He became a superstar only because he speaks Chinese fluently.

GuilinRaf:

And, in spite of the fact that he wears Qing Dynasty costumes.

Sorry, but most Western men who wear Traditional Chinese clothes look like clowns, Da Shan Included.

I do wish I spoke Chinese half as well as he does....

Mr_spoon:

Any type of old-school clothes look awesome. I'd love to wear a monocle and a top hat without looking like a complete tool or hipster.
