Q: Who sees themselves staying beyond the end of their current contract?

With all what's going on, been going on, is being said, and has been said, who has had enough, and who is staying?

I always said when I arrived in Shenzhen last summer that I would stay here one more year.  That has become two now because of the strife I went through back in September when I discovered the changes that took place last summer.

In saying this, I am waiting to see if I can get a new work visa for September.  We shall see.

I'm not sure if I will stay. I have already put in my resignation letter last Thursday. In many ways, I have had enough of China. You realize how great it is only having been here.

I have always maintained that I do not want to die in China.  That would just ensure I have a had a miserable nightmare of a time here.

That's odd I thought they would have wanted to get rid of you as soon as possible.

coolI'm gonna try to stick it out 3 more years. I didn't save any money

CARLGODWIN1983:

3 years.  Ouch.

I have spent four in China so far.  The next one will be my fifth and final one.

If I need to save money, I will go somewhere else and save it - where I can actually send it home too.

you remember what that nut professor guy said? He said gonna was not a word. Don't let him catch you using that word he might give his boring lecture on how he fails people again!

Now we don't want that to happen again.

What's going on? What's been said? Criminal records requirement in Beijing? Bad foreigners caught behaving badly?

Regardless, I signed for another year at a different school.

This time for sure! Nuthin up my sleeve! ... We'll see what happens.

mailI will stay. Couldn't stand the boringness back home. The only things I'm interested in I could have looked online for that. If I do plan to move back home I'll be leaving or moving out of where I was staying before. It was a good place to grow up, but not to live there anymore! (Drunk

He he, I said: "good"!

I guess my contract is my business licence and associated documentation with the government. The expiry date is 2030. I somehow can't see myself lasting anywhere close to that date let alone beyond it.
