Q: Why are almost all Chinese prisons in Gansu Province?

I just read that 20% of all Gansu residents are prisoners?  Are people allowed to visit prisoners in China?  How about foreigners. Are we allowed to visit or interview them?

You sure the thing you read isn't just talking about the very unfair hukou system ?

Do you have a source for this, I would guess there are plenty of prisoners all over China. Doesn't make sense to ship them all to a specific location unless you have some super excellent labor camp there.

Gansu people shit on the road... lock them all up... get them out of circulation, and the province should improve.

It has to do with the ethnic conflicts thing. It is funny how your question does not match the "stat" you gave.

These are 2 completely unrelated ideas.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
