Q: Why are Americans so promiscuous?
Are there any conservative Americans in China? All of the yanks that I've met here are huge sluts both men and women. They'll sleep with anything that has a heartbeat and a hole regardless of their gender or their counterparts' You've all heard them talking about how that banged 16 little Thai's when they went to Pattaya and "Last night, this jap pulled me out of her as I was about to...and then swallowed.....etc" Is it just me or do you also get the impression that they misrepresent their country grossly both in their behavior and their views?

I'm not American and did not come here for sex. I would have gone to Thailand or someplace that does come to mind when I think of sex. Here in China I am constantly offered it. There are massage parlours and sex shops every where. I think for a foreigner it might be like being a kid in a candy store,, all new. But for locals this is normal culture. So who does this industry service, not mostly foreigners or it would not exist. I'm sure the natives have even more stories.
Everybody's a slut. depends on your out look. Don't even bother to look in convents. yo momma, just threw that in for bad measure,,, kidding tho, yo momma was nice.
I don't know about expats, but my friends back home certainly aren't like that, and neither am I. Call me a prude, but I've never slept with anybody. I haven't met the right person. I don't see any point in changing my ways now.

Generalizations are never good. Where I do live now, I would say that even if some Americans are indeed promiscous, there are many others from Australia, England, Canada, etc, who are not too far behind, if not a bit ahead. To me it is not a question of nationalities, it is a question of what is your main purpose in China. Some come to enjoy life, culture, and to find happiness. And others get their kicks by drinking beer like a sponge everyday, and going to bed with any skirt they can lay their hands on. I do belong to the first group, by the way.
