Q: Why are big grocery stores so hard to find?
I spent most of my time in Guilin, but was in Yangshou,Beijing, and Xian. I never found a very big grocery store, just the little 'variety stores' every where. I was looking to see if I could find a place to but dog and cat food. Or even a place to buy good wine. I found a big out door market up at the second ring road, but since I mostly walked, it was far. I stayed down town. Yangshou had the only big fruit and vegy market I found. I never found any magos in Guiling.Where do you shop?? Are there big stores any where?
Clothing,, shirts too small, no shoes. I'm 5'10'' couldn't find anything to fit. Even the condoms were too small. At first I thought the girls were just being nice, but in China I'm really hung.That alone made my trip. 
YOU NEED LIKE A FULL MONTH TO EXPLORE BEIJING, and i mean take the buses at random to see where you go. and hit the big plazas you will eventually find what youre looking for
you can't find commodity for you because you live in a tourism city. if you go to some metropolis , i am sure you will find confrorable clothes and suitable condoms.
Where are you now? Yangshuo has nothing but Guilin is sick with massive grocery stores.

They are mostly underground. So, what looks like an unassuming little doorway will be the entrance to one.
that you think you are 'hung' or bigger than chinese men should be considered against the girl's you slept with who probably only slept with one or two other guys, or the prostitute whose job it is to tell you your huge.

everyone is bigger than chinese men. learn to live with it. get around the great firewall and watch some films and see for yourself. thats why those films are banned anyway dont want chinese women finding out the truth
The chinese condoms do not fit,, they are too small,maybe get 2 inches on. A good woman should be able to put a condom in her mouth and apply it easily. I had trouble finding bigger ones.I slept with more women in one week that I have in many years.I found the women small, but I am not writting because of this.Maybe I will make another post on the matter.
i spent most of my vacation time looking for what I can buy easily. I found no dog food for sale except for small bags.Maybe because the locals would eat it as a cheaper food source?Importing monkey chow might be a good business to start in China. I had such a good time, that I would not have come home, but I missed my dog and cats and the lawn needs cutting.. I made a new girl friend with a Collie also. She did not know what her dog was. I try to tell her that her dog is too thin. Poor dog eats mostly rice.I did see many small dogs as pets. The Chinese are terrified of bigger dogs, even if they are friendly.
i did not like Beijing, all they women wanted to scam me with the coffee scam or have me mugged. And they were endless. It was cold too, so I went back to Guilin.
So how do the Chinese shop? There were endless cell phone stores, but no decent grocery or liqour stores. I went to China to see what it was like. I had a great time, but I would find it difficult to live in.
In regards to the grocery store, I know of several in Yangshuo and there is a WalMart in Guilin amongst tons of the local variety (nancheng, century mart). Why were you looking for dog food while on vacation?
Finally i'm gonna speak for everyone and say that the depiction of your expectations of women in bed are generally not appreciated.

I was scouting for shopping because next time I will stay longer and have many needs. I want to bring my dog with me, she needs to eat something that will not give her the runs. because l clean up after her, unlike some people that can't clean up after themselves. I found shopping lacking for neccesities, while every hotel seemed to have a massage parlour. I met people who said they would show me where places were, but they motly showed up when it was time to eat. I like to walk so I saw a large amount of the city on foot.
